I need a set of 1000 ute seats to finish off my ute, would prefer good condition but will retrim if i have to. please pm me if you can help

Have you looked into some cobra classic seats?
Cobra Classic Seats in Datsun 1000 & 1200
They can be found at good prices second hand, otherwise you can buy them new from Minisport down south.
Is this Andy's old ute? (Matt's before that) It was a really good starting base that car.

I hadnt looked into those seats, I currently have a set of fixed back momos in it pretty much just for leg room and those cobra seats look like theyll take a fair bit of that away, not a good thing when youre 6'4 haha.
and no I rescued this ute from a paddock up in berri for $300 and spent a few months and a lot of cut fingers fixing her up.

Ash (beetwenty) and I went to pick up some 12" wheels yesterday from a guy restoring a 1200. He'd bought some 120Y seats that looked great in it, and he suggested we look on the Morris Minor forums for parts since that scene tends to borrow a fair bit from Datsuns.

I know the space is okay in a 1200 ute but I don't know about the 1000 ute. But yes they are a very swept seat but by far the most comfortable bucket seat available within reasonable budget.
