Rebuilt 1000 2 door sedan, What do you think it is worth?

A friend has a 1000 2 door sedan that has been rebuilt from the ground up including motor and paint job and is in immaculate condition. Seats have been re-upholstered, dash redone etc, etc.
He is considering selling this car and would like to see what it is worth.
The guy selling is Bill Evans who raced 1000's and 1200's at Bathurst with good success, the car was restored by him.

I guess its hard to say without seeing it, however the sad thing is even with huge amounts of time and money put into them i've never seen a 1000 fetch a high'ish price. There are few immaculate condition ones out there, (original or restored) but to give your friend a guide id say nothing over 6K. I would love to see it though!!

Does the car have any pedigree i.e. did Bill Evans race it at Bathurst back in the day? Photos and a detailed description of the resto' would definitely help.
