Hi all, ive got an issue with the side drafts on Wendy,
she runs really lumpy at idle, ive played with the timing and spark and all seems good,
the intitial problem was the rear carb would not run at idle, pull the leads correlating to that carb and i would find no change at idle, pull a lead off the front carb and the engine would die, swap the the carbs and i found the issue to be reversed, (front leads no change, rear leads engine would die) so ive isolated it to one carb, removed carb and stripped it down on the bench, idle jets are clean progression ports are clean main jets are clean... EVERYTHING'S CLEAN! when i spray brakekleen down the idle jet holes i can see a bit of liquid coming out at the venturis but most of it goes to the progression ports.
the only time i can get it to run on that carb alone is when i unscrew the idle jets so theyre being bypassed.(allowing me to pul the plugs on the opposite carb)
but ive also swapped the jets on the carbs so i know its not the jets
any ideas?
