Hello all. I have just had a freshen up of my A12, new pistons, rings, crank linished etc. etc. Now the question is this, it already had an A14 crank, rods and pushrods in it so now I am not sure what tension I need to use for the head as the A12 is 46 nm and the A14 is 79 nm (or there about) so any help would be appreciated. Also I was told that the bores are 100 thou over, is that basically just because it has A14 internals in an A12 block?
Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction for tensioning of head as even my engine builder was a bit unsure as he has had very little to do with the mighty A series.
