Hello and welcome to my site.

datsun1000.com was originaly a personal web page created to document the progress on my first restoration. Most of what I have been doing has been one giant learning experience.

I have made an effort to share what info I can, I feel the next step in creating a resource of accessible info on 1000's is to host a forum.

I hope you enjoy using this forum and I hope any information I have provided can help out.
My two main goals for this site are to make the 1000 community an even better group to be a part of.
And to have a dedicated place to talk about 1000's.

Please be aware that while I have tried my very best to ensure any info I have provided is correct, I can not 100% gaurantee this.

If you spot an error within one of the tabs not in the forum, please send me a pm so I can correct it.

But im happy with how it is so far.

It is my little bro who is the true geuius.
He is a computer god. He made this forum from scratch for me in a weekend and 4 afternoons.
And im talking from scratch, Notepad and photoshop.

Hey Wurzel. I thought I'd chime in here since I got a mention (I'm Ash's little brother).

I probably won't post much in the forums since I'm not a datto guru, but I'm planning on creating a wiki for this site, so any ideas etc please let me know.

I'm most likely going to be hanging around in the site suggestions forum.

That is ok by me Chris, I am scanning in some more as we speak.
If you don'twant to post them I am happy for you to send me scans of what you have, and I will put in the time to fix them up with photoshop.
otherwise posting them to me is fine

With regards to the pics, your scanner should be fine. some of the pics started pretty ordinary, photoshop does wonders.
If you do scan, 150 or 300 dpi is fine.
The for sale section seems to work, i have sold 2 items in less than 1 day.

Does anyone know of a Datsun 1000 grill and headlight surrounds for sale ? im trying to finish my ute asap.

finally a 1000 site have been a member of 1200 for about 10 years but 1000 is my ride so i am pleased to find site with stuff for sale and the same interest have had my 1000 for about 15 years  so it has been a long time coming thanks
