I have been having nothing but problems with the standard carby since I got the car. I have stripped cleaned and re-kitted it so many times I'm pretty sure I can do it with my eyes closed now. I finally had enough, and put my 32/36 webber on it. The engine is a standard, A12, no work at all done on it yet, but HOLY SHIT dosn't the carby make a difference. Every mm of movment on the throttle and you feel the car respond agressivley. Good thing the brakes have been done. I've lost the little clips that hold the top of the air cleaner on, so I will have to try and get a new one for it. I think Autobarn will sell one, or if any one has any ideas, that would be great.
