Japanese Retro Auto Magazine, I spotted a Datsun 1000 Coupe in it

If anyone's interested, there's a new car magazine out there called "Japanese Retro Auto". It looks like it's going to be similar to "Japanese Nostaligic Car" magazine.

I just bought issue one, and spotted a datsun 1000 coupe in the article about the Classic Japanese Show 'n' Shine at Lakeside Raceway.

Who's coupe is this?
Coupe used to belong to Rob Souter, the old school Datsun 1000 racecar driver from way back in the day, his username is be off Datsun1200.com. T car runs little wide 10 inch wheels wrapped in what look like yokohama A048's.

The car now belongs to Matty (datsun1200.com username) I think. I think he called it tiger.
I shouldn't say way back in the day, he's still racing now I think, in a SR B310.
Yeah definately an awesome mag, got it a long time ago. Not sure how often it'll come out, maybe a couple times a year. Cant wait for the next issue. PS the TS Celica is one sexy beast, Bloody tough!!
Hey Mikey,

What's a TS Celica? Do you mean the Bosozoku TA22 in the mag?

I have a theory about retro Japanese cars being more popular these days... With the P-plate laws, you can't have anything that requires a mod plate. So original is the new cool. I could be way off, but hopefully it means less cars will be molested to make them "fully sick".

X-Zibit may start a show called "stock my ride"...
Ha ha my bad, I ment to type TA ha ha. Dam letters on my key board are too close Yeah the retro revival of old school jap car are really booming now, pitty for the buyer buy great for the seller. Just like my ute, a few years ago wasnt worth a whole lot but now ppl really want old school cars and even more the old school pick ups the price is up there.
