Upcoming FS: Datsun 1000 Turbo Manifolds [PNG to AUS], Taking Orders Now - $400.00

cheap one looks good, but i'd have to see a prototype or something of the dearer one and see how it compares to what i've already got drawn up

Yeah sure. Ive modelled up a few myself but I only have a couple of types of fittings so i find it easier to simply get hands on. I can offer a full 316 stainless type as well but id be shot for putting up the asking price, im goin for some nice extractors with that stock anyway.

If you have one with the whole kit and kaboodle then I insist you pursue that, mine wont have collectors or anything like that so as to keep the costs at a minimum.
yea im not real fond of stainless turbo manifolds, i've used them on my nissans and they just crack so just ended up getting a cast manifold extrusion honed.

so your not going to be using a merger collector on the more expensive ones?

To be honest, if I can get the angles spot on, I intend to merge the four runners themselves. Rather than fabricate an entire separate merger to collect the four paths. If I could drop into a shop and grab some for cheap
then I would, but thats not my situation.

By all means if you have something better on the go then I insist you stick with that, there is still a fair bit of development to come on these ones and an absolute optimum performer may not be achievable for reasons of cost.
i dunno if its better, i'll still be in for a manifold. i dont even know if i'll have the time to make the one i want thats why i was asking about yours, if the more expensive option was similar to the design i was going to use i would just fork out for it

Definitely open to ideas and advice Leith, feel to throw up a sketch or sketch design.
I have officially started on these, I have a couple of buyers who are 1200 owners, both requesting an inlet plenum and turbo manifold- log style.

If you are genuinely interested please write me a PM, there will be a deposit paid, shipping from PNG is around $122.00 for both inlet and turbo manifold to anywhere in Australia.

If people buy in a group I can send multiple units to one location for cheaper than all units separate.

Send me a PM.

how long you doing these for chris?

I cant give you an accurate time frame sorry. Probably better you tell me when you need something?
im just a bit undecided at the moment, looks awesome for a draw thru setup and this is all i need to finish mine. its this or new golf clubs lol i am interested its just my enthusiasm for cars is at an all time low

Okay, well I am making them all now and I prefer to make them in one go as it is more efficient than doing one at a time. Will have some pictures up of a different turbo manifold.
Both turbo and inlet manifold posted to Australia (anywhere) for $750.00. They fit nice and snug in the bay. Get your draw through turbo on!

I also have a high mount turbo manifold that merges quite nicely. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I can.
Here are some images of the manifolds that will fit your 1000, can fabricate dump pipe as well to suit. I'm making mine up at 3 inch.

far out Chris, will we need a hole in the bonnet..lol
No taller than the rocker cover and all clear when fitted to big block A15 with 8mm clearance under sump. I'll get some installed pictures up when I can get it finished.
*correction* No taller than the filler cap, on the rocker cover
