I decided to play with the su's I bought by "dummy" fitting them to the A15 over the weekend. They're a mongrel setup...literally! The
manifold is a gx copy (I think, can't be lucky enough to jag a genuine!), home made heat shield and the carbs are British...possibly
From a Jag or possibly Triumph.
Bar the vacuum advance. (I bought the wrong size hose and t-piece), I think I've got it all plumbed up right.
If I have, the only thing I've got left to do is the throttle cable. I've adapted a stock cable linkage but because the butterflies
open in the opposite direction, I have to run the cable around and up between the carbs.
