I made myself an aluminium trim piece for the lower section of my door. I still need to make another one for the drivers side. This is my attempt to make the 1000 equivalent of the pb110 sunny excellent door trim. I'm very happy with how it came...

I have made myself a new fuel pump block off plate. The general look I was going for is something that could pass as an old school racer part such as Nismo,HKS,Tomei etc. Its not much, but I do like that I can add this as another subtle detail on my...

I have made myself a new aluminium heat shield for a set of carbs I plan to use in the future. The outer profile is roughly based on what I believe to be a SSS, L-Series heat shied but shorter to suit my A-Series manifold Spacing. I have also made a...

I'm jealous that you don't need to affix any plates. Can't help with time or money, however for space I recently had a redo of my garage space. I put a pallet rack above my work bench, this created both storage space and a good framework for a tool...

I have now fitted my rear spring plates and am extremely happy with the result. With the new escort rubbers fitted and cut down to suit the length of my spring plates, my car now rides smoother than it did before and my ride height is also set exactly...

I have also made a start on a rear brake swap for my 1000. Ive roughly based my swap on this car as it looks to be a well thought out swap. http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=470830#forumpost470830 I already have a front swap...

So my understanding is that if you want a H165 diff in your car you will need to swap the entire diff over. Leaf mounts, shock mounts,u bolts and driveshaft (maybe custom length). And obviously overall widths need to be appropriate as well.
