Actually was 80L but less than that fits for LPG It was just the usual 80L tank secured where the usual fuel tank is so figured you could fit a rectangular tank that is taller than it is deep

This looks like the blank I use for my datsun. Is this the type you were after? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/251728988890?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=107&chn=ps

I didn't get time today to play with this idea at all. I spent my time replacing a blown headlight... My father is coming up tomorrow night for me to fix his spare wheel carrier so I might get some time in the shed then to at least eyeball in a second...

Wagon would be good but another sedan tank hard up would be an awesome idea providing you have no issues filling it up from original fuel entry area, otherwise in boot filling could cause ventilation issues. unless you can make it breathe to the outside...

I agree thin red a great choice but tyre with 14 steelies I wouldnt go larger than 165/65/14 as they are like stretching over 180b stockies just enough to reduce the diameter and width is nice for the stock guards. you can go 6 inches with the same...

I think I might have a bit of trouble finding the right offset 14's, the fronts shouldn't be too much trouble 14x 4.5 maybe some bluebird or early skyline rims, but the rear on the other hand. The diff is an inch wider on both sides, so some sort of fwd...

Original tank width is 85cm x 10cm high x 10cm wide at the widest point (botttom) If you measure the top of the tank its onlly about 5cm wide before you start to intrude into the boot space. I dont mind losing some space, but i do still use the boot for...

Go the LJ Torana tank although they are getting hard to find. They would fit in the wheel well and would look like a drop tank! Not sure of the capacity but would have to be bigger than std. Would a wagon tank fit in the rear quarter or is there as a...

Yep, love the caps but me personally would go the thin red line on the tire with the white paint and dark wheel trims it would be sweet. If you can get the right offset and lip the guards you should be able to squeeze 215x50x14 ( I had some steelies made...

Welcome buddy, great little sedan. Very sly looking 1k you wouldn't even consider thinking it had that sort of power looking at it, very much the sleeper! Look forward to seeing a few more pics.

You dont want to stop and fill undestandable however uniting 2 petrol tanks is hard work and be prone to leaks or safety issues in time Whats the width between the rear and height without worrying about the speakers however considering the boot mechanism?...

Yep I would keep it that way no fancy ecu etc but just in case the microsquirt is supposedly cheap and capable however I would prefer the software for burning honda or GM ecus, that way you just get your ecu at the wreckers and re-tune it with the...

I did wonder if i could fit a fuel tank in the spare wheel well and hook it up with an electric pump pushing into the original tank. I did also think about a fuel cell but my initial research didnt yield a tank that would fit into the origonal hole...

Thanks for the info datbro, I've looked in to the megasquirt option but it seems a little too much, I have not heard of micro squirt? I sort of love the way I know how everything works and can fix it on the side of the road ( points distributor) I...
