"Depends on the enthusiast. Personally I believe all orginal things can be improved somewhat in the brakes, electrics, suspension and noise cancellation but apart from that old and mostly orignial is hard to beat"

"Hi Neil.    Basically the diff is a 1995 hilux lsd unit which has been cut down to the stock length of I think it was around 1180mm.  Got the shafts cut and re splined to suit. Also the diff mounts have been fabricated and welded using 50mm x 50mm rhs box..."
