True that Neil: My 1st car was a TE Cortina (pretty mch extinct, thank GOD!) which had a BW35 and I blew that tranny to oblivion (where's Unfamilia for that blatant double entendre?! ). On the flipside though, I also had a GD Galant with one in it....

Yes they were in aussie built cars 180B etc Parts are getting harder to come by as most cars with that box are almost extinct... lol Still soft parts available but not many hard parts

No 1000 ever had a BW auto I believe thats abit of a furfy and no truth in it Heard the rumour... but never seen any proof I worked for a trans parts wholesaler up until recently and they nor any of the builders I spoke to have heard of it either

Shes definitely a compact simple little donk runs on 2 plugs lightweight with a single 2.5 inch exhaust all the way from the single port outlet. @ 47kg or 13kg lighter than a bare a10 engine they are quite powerful. Take smaller lighter gearboxes...
