I don't know much about cars built in the 60s or earlier. Turbocharged Mira can be real quick but the engine bay is tight especially the dohc ones, couple that with a 4x4 transmission.. err no thanks. You're right pushrod engine is much easier to work...

Cheers for the welcome That place buys, sells and restores old cars. d, that coupe is a Sunbeam Rapier. The white is Mira-based locally assembled Perodua Kancil, so you're right there Yea I love old cars 'cos they are easy to work on.
