Hey Neil. I've added a link called View More Recent Posts at the top of the main page. It's actually just a list of all the posts in the entire site (in reverse chronological order), but you just stop reading them when you get to one you've seen before.

Ok sorry the fulcrum on the other side of the carrier isn't it. Whoops sorry I was thinking of it as it being at the middle. I'm all muddled up. Either way, another member on 1200.com insisted that the 56A 5spd box was a bolt-in without mods to tunnel. ...

If I shorten the fork outside the bell housing then the clutch pedal travel will be reduced and harder to push. But if the B110 mechanism is lighter than the B10 I won't notice will I? Thanks for advice so far. Mark

Probably too much considering your response on the price of the carbs. Why don't you get a 1200 head from somewhere closer to your locality. Buy a used unit. GL with your search.

Wouldn't it increase the travel? A small dent wouldn't have cut it for mine, I had to cut a hole in the trans tunnel which was a bummer. And since looking at the clutch lever I've decided to do that next. It's worth a try isn't it?

not sure I'd shorten the fork at all Chris, this would reduce the travel on the clutch.. the small "dent" can be done with a ball pein and turns out very neat..
