Yeah okay with lining them up you normally leave the single adjusting bolt (on the other end) loose so you have a bit of play and this tends to helpwith getting it back into place. You can also jack up the underside of that LCA to put it at a height...

yea i think it is chris, is it easier to take the castor rod out with it still attached to the LCA when the LCA has been disconnected from the stub and chassis?? the problem i have is putting the castor rod back in trying to line the bolts up that go...

Okay, this has done an entire back-flip. I looked into getting these copied and cast but it's turning into a nightmare, I am now making the badges myself running off the original plan of a laser-cut layered format. I just haven't had the time to chase...

Is the castor rod the radius rod? Same thing? Sometimes if they're loose or if the bushings at the end have perished the nut will cross a thread or two, so basically it's a matter of getting it off and hoping that a new nut will be able to thread back...

Just winding in and out in small steps with heaps of inox is what I have found works best. The only other things I can suggest is to use a 6 point socket or 6 point ring spanner and give the breaker bar/spanner a sharp hit with a rubber mallet to get...

I would be interested to know how to do it properley as well. When I did mine I cut it off the front end that I had from a rusty 1K, so care wasn't an issue. For the nuts I would suggest drowning them in inox and letting it sit for a while to let the...

The plan for my ute so far is to keep it original except for an A12 in place of the stock A10. I have changed the radio to a modern one that has an old look to it, I will do the same with the seatbelts. There is a company called Retro Belt that I am...

I'll contribute to this. Datsun 521 part number 26160-B0101 is identical to the 1000 1968/1969 short spear lamp. Datsun 1600 is the same as Long spear 1970 1000 Datsun 410 and 411 Headlamp Switch is the same as 1000 Datsun 520 reverse lamp is the...

I appreciate it. With regards to the pics, your scanner should be fine. some of the pics started pretty ordinary, photoshop does wonders. If you do scan, 150 or 300 dpi is fine. The for sale section seems to work, i have sold 2 items in less than 1 day.
