The normal way most 1000 owners lower the front is to cut the rubber leaf spring pads down.
They are in the lower control arm at the end of the front suspensions leaf spring.
 
Be conservative with what you remove as once its gone its gone and youll find it hard to find replacments.
 
If you do cut them down you will find that your car will lower by more than the height of material that you remove,
 
Your front leaf spring will still be the standard stiffnes designed for full suspension travel, so bottoming out becomes more likley if you remove too much.
 
Front suspension bushings are hard to find, so be kind to it all.
 
Rear suspension bushings are the same as datsun 1200 and 120y 
Lowering the rear is just the normal methods of reset leafs or blocks.
 
This dosnt take alot of lowering before you are out of travel and hitting bumpstops in the rear.
