yea i got a set of alloys with good tyres you could roll on temporarily if you wanted (speed up the rwc) they came off my ute to fit the ssr's, there in the first photo in my project page. well i'll be down your way soon so if you did want these wheels i can swing by drop them off and get those frames

The tyres I have look new so they will pass a RWC.
I just wanted new ones because the rubber is a bit old now, they are 7 years old, but it looks like I might have a set of 12's.
So if I get these I will be saving up for tyres on them instead.

Andrew has made up a 3.5mm headphone jack socket on a metal plate to suit the original radio in his celica.
So now he will be able to play MP3's from his iPhone through a mini amp and radio through the original radio.
He will wire it up so that both run through the same amp.
 

from the front he has glued the cover from an A4 black plastic folder, it is a perfecr colour and texture match for the standard celica part.

 
He managed to buy an original radio and uncut surround last week.

 
Also he has changed the taillights from RA28 to RA25 ones, the celica guys go crazy about these, Around $1000 a set.
New badges and indicator lenses, and an original steering wheel.

I fixed up a heater for my car yesterday and today.

I ended up using self adhesive foam tape to replace the foam on my vents and to seal up the main air inlet on the back.

 
Im not sure if I will use this on my 1000 yet.
 
I would like to use it, but I plan on doing an A15 and a 5speed down the line.
If I have to cut new holes in my firewall to reroute water lines, i will try something different as a heater instead.
 
Time will tell...
 
 
Also I should put some pics of my new radio here in my build diary even though I have a radio topic going right now.

Yes, I sand blasted, primered and painted it Satin black.
Probably not the most dureable finish, but satin black seemed like the right colour choice.
 
The brown sticker was carefully removed with a sharp blade then double sided taped back on, and the knobs wet & dryed then polished and the letters repainted.

I just went to fit my heater into my 2 door this afternoon and it dosn't fit.. Hmmm?
 
Well after comparing Chassis numbers against my parts books it turns out I need an early heater.
Once I pay off my x-mas spending i'll start the hunt for an early one.

That's a bummer ash didn't know there was a difference, do you remember if there was a heater with the 2 door of mine? I'd have it lying around if there was one there

if you want to do it cheap just get a couple of 12v hair dryers and hook them up to a switch, it's legal and can be hidden up under the dash. it's probably what im gonna do, save weight

I might need it to swap for an early model heater.
