Datsun 1000 / B10 Engine Splash Shield

Browsing some 1000s for sale in Japan on goo-net I noticed this engine splash shield installed on a KB10. Looking further I noticed the same style splash shield installed on a two door sedan aswell. Interested to find out if anyone knows if these were installed only on home market (Japan) cars or if they were installed on the export market cars aswell? My car doesnt have one and it is a pretty original car.

got one on my 1000 2 door sedan.
1967 Datsun B10 2 Door.

I dont see it as being a sort after part that people hoard,
You should be able to get one if somebody has one to spare.
 
I would try and see if anyone has one on facebook has a parts car, o you could also ask datsun parts shop if they have any.
 
If  you can get one I would fit it..
The splash pan causes a low pressure zone behind the radiator while driving so should help the little 1000 radiator to keep up with cooling.

they are a good thing to have, 
I found with a big block, the splash tray helped with cooling...
