Re-conditioned Ball Joints

hi guys wondering if anyones got the front end ball joints re-conditioned?? just wondering if there as good as new??

Just had all 4 ball joints  and tie rod ends done, look really good but cost me 1050.00 for the 8 units, only time will tell?

Wow that's expensive.

Leith I have a full set of ball joints and tie rod ends all Japan 555 brand (quality). I might part with them for good cash....

Not sure though.

jeez that is a bit pricey, where did you get it done ian? people keep telling me you can't recondition them so i'm trying to find out what they do to bring them back 

let me know chris if your willing to part with them

I think they inject them with molten plastic. But I'm not sure. If you could imagine the injected plastic serving as 'cartilage' in the joint it kinda makes sense.

Keen to hear how it's done as well.

oh yea sounds about right, i would think that'd be better than metal on metal if its the same pruduct as the likes of nolathane??

It was organised thru Mr Brakes in Ballarat. I will ask Matt who did it and let you know. I spent 12 months chasing new ones and gave up. Same with front shockers I ended up fitting LJ ,LC Torana - monroe shockers. I had to weld in a new bracket to attached shocks at bottom as they were longer than original shocks. I did get hold of a set of pedders for the rear. Ian

I can supply both ball joints and Tie Rod ends..
they take a few weeks to get, and I will need funds. 
I thought just about everybody had a set as the first 20 odd sets when instantly and the next 3 sets I had in stock for 12 months.. ha ha

I am also interested in a set of ball joints and tie rod ends, either new or if someone can help me with a company that can repair I would be most appreciative.
