I have made myself a new aluminium heat shield for a set of carbs I plan to use in the future. The outer profile is roughly based on what I believe to be a SSS, L-Series heat shied but shorter to suit my A-Series manifold Spacing. I have also made a...

I know the feeling. I've got 'Interesting' on pause while I save for a rebuild of my 38mm Hitachi carbs. And what ever sorcery is needed to fit SU brand needles into them. My brother suggested to me that I tackle the spendiest things first so my A14...

I have now fitted my rear spring plates and am extremely happy with the result. With the new escort rubbers fitted and cut down to suit the length of my spring plates, my car now rides smoother than it did before and my ride height is also set exactly...

I have also made a start on a rear brake swap for my 1000. Ive roughly based my swap on this car as it looks to be a well thought out swap. http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=470830#forumpost470830 I already have a front swap...

My understanding is that if all you are swapping over is the centre on your 1000 diff then you either need a 1000 or 1200 diff centre (H145). If you swap to the larger 120y centre (H150) you will need to either buy or make up a 2mm spacer to fit between...
