for me regret is an understatement
I watched a doco of a guy lightening his porsche race car
he got down to 630kg with 180hp engine and the thing is
so dangerously weakened by speedholes with no tapering
that any average bingle would be the end of the occupants.
He spent a year and also paid a year to a full time fabricator
to help him and here the 1000 is as light and more comfort
from the elements than any Lotus 7 that cost 25k or more
for the same performance plus sunburn and tinnitus
