Hey people!!! New to the site and to the world of Datsun's. Found this thing at Toowoomba swap meet in February and feel in love, Been chuggin along on it since and this is whats been happening so far.

Looks great mate, you're doing a good job.

I see you smoothed and panelled the apron, but you kept the bumper bar bracket holes - what's the idea there?

Looking good.
I like the frame you have made up to move your car about, does the car just sit on that frame?
It looks like a good solution to a common problem.

beetwenty.Cheers bud, yeah just made the trolly with some spare 75/75 box i had hanging about and just some castors, worked out good for moving her round.

I made up something similar for the front end of a B20 I was doing.
I made up a frame that mounted to the engine and gearbox crossmembers and I just left the rear wheels on.
After looking at your set up Im left thinking "Of course, It's so obvious"
 
As ThouUte mentioned, we will have a few 1000's in SEQ once we are all finished fixing up our cars. maybe we should organise a meet up and drive some time in the future, maybe even have a BBQ organised or something.
Although it is probably a long way off for some of us.

Sounds like a plan ta me. yeah saw that trolly ya made up, looks like it would work mint. nothing better than slappin some bits together a gettin a good result,thats all i did. And if u or anyone else is headin ta jambo this weekend ill be there all w/e with SPOT-ON PERFORMANCE. ill be the pinhead in the blue hat and S.O.P. shirt. Names Tony.

It's come a long way, im jealous of your perfect dash (original radio hole)
and that shifter is pretty cool as well.
 
Do you still have the original 12" wheels?

Ohhh I want the hub caps abs steering wheel if it is not cracked. Is the black thing on the top a tray under the dash?

What do u want for it. I am located in Alberta Canada where these cars are sparse.

Let me know what you want for the wheels, If Derrick decides he doesn't want the hub caps. I would also want them.
 
But he has spoken up first so only if things with him fall through.

toyn82 beware white dash is very annoying with sun hiting it in more ways than one
will be bright in your eyes, reflects off the windscreen also blocking the view,
will reflect up on the ceiling and off all chrome bits.  They are quite a headache.
 
My biggest dislike was the windscreen reflection even at night!!!
