Yes thank you, its the first time I heard about it happening on a reasonably well know stock 1000
down south and if Im not mistaken was also used at a wedding for another member.
Probably angling the rear of the turbo towards the back of the engine would make a better and
easier time of curing the 3 inch dump pipe but the quality of the manifold and workmanship is top notch.

Any one know what work has been done on the internals, and what boost he intends to run ? Also, blow through or draw through, and what carby?
looks like draw thru judging by the outlet of the compressor,  from what i read a standard a12 will handle 10psi no worries and if you start winding the boost up your best off running a water/meth injection setup to stop detonation. i see most people using a 3/4 SU for draw thru setups, i've haven't had any experience with turbo'd a series so couldnt tell you much but it would be fun

How about engineering?
It does loo like a front dizzy engine with a round port head in the car. I can only assume that the engine that will go in is the A14.
Some people play hard to get... I play hard to want...
Cool idea, but looks to be in quiet an awkward spot turbo location wise.
This is actually mine,
My friend made the manifold for me,
Its a stock a12 that when i got had "vegimite" as oil.
Was running 7psi and wanst giving any issues until i drove it to laverton for a family do and it didnt like the long trip. Cracked the oil rings in 2 cylinders. ATM ive got a ported a15 head getting done and once is fisihed will be back on the road
Turbo is  t25, 1 3/4 su msd ign with boost retard and elec dizzy.
nice thanks for the info Andy
