Question about fuel

Hi,
Just bought my first Datsun. Its a 1968 VB10. I am a complete idiot when it comes to mechanics so I wonder if someone could help me out here.

I don't know what fuel I'm suppose to run it with? I assume it was designed to be run with leaded petrol so what should I use  now? The engine is a stock standard A10 with no mods.

Thanks

Usualy a car designed for use with leaded fuels will need a lead replacment additive.

As far as I understand things the lead in older fuels acted as a lubricant.
Unleaded fuel in an engine designed for leaded fuel will affect the valve stem seals if constantly used.

So do you recommend I use an additive? Or is it not necessary unless its a daily drive car?

If I had a stock A10 in my 1000 I would use it.
Maybe im being over cautious.

Does anyone else used a lead replacment additive in their A10?

Thanks for the tips. I suppose its worth making the effort now rather than running into issues down the track
