camber/ castor adjusting shims, what have people done?

hey guys,
i was wondering what people have done with the adjusting shims on the upper control arms (the ones used for adjusting camber and castor). Are there places you can buy these? i have two sets in my car but still need more for my desired allignment. i spoke to a metal fabrications place today about having some made up. i was just wondering what everybody else had done?

i made up aluminium spacers on my lathe and got longer bolts, how far you plan on going? mine are about an 35mm and i reckon its a bit unsafe so gonna make up a whole new support bracket so i can keep the majority of my camber

Long bolts and spacers would have been my choice too rather than stacking too many shims
