Fair price for H150

I asked my local wreckers for a price on a 120y diff.
They quoted me $195.

Is this too much to pay?

drum to drum is about right for most pull it your yourself places
 
If they pull it out then its cheap but the centre alone is worth 50-80 at same wreckers

Thanks D,

He has two 120y's.
One Borg warner and 1 that looks similar to a 1000 diff.

Also a 1200 sedan and 1200 ute.

Are all.120y's H150 if not Borg warner?

Both BW and Hitachi 150 available in 120Y
 
The one that looks similar to a 1000 diff could be an early 41 bluebird which is what I suggest to get if you have a chance.  They are h165 centre with 1000 sized h145 axles and used in some 1000 sports sedans in the past like Steve Newings 1000. All mounting points are the same just bigger drums and centre, swap cast iron drums with alloy finned 260z ones and internals with bluebird S2 cylinders, springs and shoes etc

It was way up above me when I looked.
They stack 3 cars high in giant racks.

If you can get a 411 bluebird diff 1967 or 68 its a stronger and better diff with
the correct length in every area to the 1000 It shares exact mounting points.
