front swaybar.

Hey guys,
i have been toying with the idea for a while.. the idea is to rig up some kind of front swaybar. I just want to know if anybody has done it or steered clear of it for a valid reason.
thanks for the info in advance.
theres a couple of special ones on 1200.com

I have 90% of mine sorted, will upload some pics when I'm a little closer..
You can create understeer if there is not enough power or stiffness in the back springs.
I would prefer to remove the front leaf spring and install coilovers at the front but been
having a hard time finding the right sizes and tension required to do this.
The Jp ownere of this KB10 was a customer of one of the workshops up there and
no one knows anything about the part numbers for these GAB coilovers.
They are fully adjustable, weighing about 2.5kg each side there is a 5kg saving overall
once the front leaf is removed and although illegal unless engineered properly the engine
could be lowered even further by modding the crossmember to fit taller donks like A14/15
in my case I want to fit an L16 bored to 86mm rb26dett pistons with shorter Na20s crossflow
head, factory alloy roller rockers, closed kidney chambers & overall same weight as an A15.

any links dundee? I think a few of us would be interested in any photos or details on your setup. have you used another datsun's swaybar with some chops and bends? or completely fabricated your own?

D: thumbs up for the L16 swap! have thought alot how a worked light l series would be a great addition to a 1000.
while on the subject.. what about one on the rear? anybody seen that done?
if you had irs i could understand it but not on a solid axle rear end would serve no purpose would it?
