hi all,
ive just pulled engine out of my b10 for rebuild but may go full car bare shell restore,
i was planning restore at a later date to allow time to obtain parts required i figure iv got the motor out may as well crack on....
many parts seem very good like rubbers interior etc. must have been restored about five years ago,
so will not replace all parts but restore all parts front end rear end add disk breaks.
 
i suspect that when we strip the car it down the parts list may grow a little
 
but for now im looking for tail lights all 4 front blinkers and grill,
 
i have no idea how hard it may be to get parts so please enlighten me,
i will post in appropriate section resto pics updates,

i definately need front indicators / paring lights
+ front side indicators asap,
 
my machanic guy has got the car fully striped down already,
 
whole resto he recons will be 1 month!
 
also i need to know what disc breaks will fit on i think i sween someone mention vanette
before?

I would go long ones to be original but finding them is another story

That's about the going rate for genuine Nissan mirrors on ebay.
 
The link you gave was for mirrors specific to the roadster, the arm on the mirror has a sharper bend and the mounting base is shorter than the 1000 one.
 
If you are going to buy new, I would suggest asking if they can get the 1000 mirrors in for you.
Bprojects are great to deal with, and im sure they would reply to your enquirey if you were to ask.
 
If you are buying new you might as well get the correct parts.

grille was $90 with shipping,
ive got some 620 tails that will look great but i hate the thought of
the a bits and peices b10,
 
not sure if im using the early grille will chrome old one and see how it goes,
 
question on chroming, i seen all model grilles and they dont seem to be 100% chrome,
some are alloy right? some seem to have black inside...
are they all alloy?
some 69 seem to have black inside the channels,
what do ya think of chroming my 69 one,

Im after the early grille Paul so if there are any left Ill be interested for sure.
Otherwise have a 69 grille in 95% as new condition and it doesnt have chrome
but stainless steel inserts on galvanised black painted rear plate but all mainly
stainless steel as in my vb10 in my thread

Mine I blackened instead of the grey but you can chrome them easily you just have to drill out the rivets and you separate the stainless from the back which is mild perforated steel once that is chromed and stainless is polished separately you just assemble it all up again with rivets. Ill be happy to buy your 66 grille for my 66 sedan if you ever sell it but you need the alloy light overriders also.
Any idea if any left?
