These seats are now on their way to Mal in WA and although Im going to miss them I have some ready to be re-upholstered in gold for my new Tiki tropical theme interior, yes I know Gold yuk! Ive always hated it but after I saw some old cruisers pics from a friend in Florida Im convinced that my gold hating days are well over.
 
This is how some very comfy seats are used to fit in all 1000s bar the ute but it allowed me more head room as seat is about 6 inches lower to the floor and yet has more cushioning for a lowered ride that with the original would ruin my cocksick bone over some speedhumps of uneven road undulations.
 
I also like them more than the usual restrictive choice of Cobra seats due to sizing as Im no fan of their
out of place looking headrests. All a matter of choice really and these look period 60s.
 

Here used a time-sert for the L lip (could easily have used nut and bolt after drilling hole)
