That would be one of the very first to arrive here, early model.

It is the rare 3spd manual, I've seen about 4 others (inlcuding my own).

Nice little project but if you can see that much rust then there may be a fair bit more.

The dash cluster, the heater, the grill, the indicators all say it's a genuine 67 or even 66? If you really wanted to confirm have a look at the striker plate for the door close mechanism and you'll see it's a toothed version (early).

I think these are the best of the lot with the 3spd column shift, but it'd need a fair bit of work to get to a decent standard. The paint has had it as it's all chalked up. I reckon there'd be a fair bit of hidden rust.

There are two words in his description that are very appropriate 'project' and 'time' (which = big money).

Put it this way, if I were about to do a $8,000 restoration (minimum) I'd start with an early 1000, I think they're the ones that would hold more value compared to the others, but that value may not eventuate for anothe 10 or 20 years! haha

$800 is about as much as I'd pay. And I'd buy something else for that value before buying this.

Go have a look at it take some bigger pics, make it your priority to look at the paint and find the rust. But I reckon this one is a long term project.

I want to have a look at it not as a restoration project but as something I could put back together and get through the pits, plus I want a 2 door. If it hasn't been on the road in 10 years I doubt I would have a chance, we'll see what he says. I am not really interested in resale or paint either, $500 is probably closer to the mark. rats not show cars!

ebay they sell some sh1t for bullsh1t money these cars are getting harder and harder to get parts for and i do belive people will take advatage of that about 13 year ago i had a 1200 wagon and my 1000 coupe and to 1200 coupes all in 1 yard ,cut up the two 1200 coupes and took them  to dump actually payed to dump them the wagon sat in back yard for about 2 years with gx head and twin sus and i sold the whole car for about 500 dollars if i could go back now id be rich  but i saw a very nice 1000 wagon the other day black complete yea i would like to get my hands on that
