After taking the handbrake off it does not release properly, leaving me with dragging drums, and then by the end of my drive to work they are well and truly locking up. A quick look at the 1200 site shows there are return springs for the handbrake lever...

My gauges are reading low. The temperature gauge does not work at all, except for I have seen it move very slightly when in hot traffic. And the fuel gauge was reading empty the other day but took hardly any petrol at the bowser. I read on the 1200 forum...

Yes I think these cars might be fairly sensitive to having one or more bulbs not working correctly, so another strategy is I have to get everything wired up and all bulbs in place as per the manual, rather than just trouble shooting one corner of the car...

Well the indicators in the rear were very weak so I changed for a bulb with small wattage and that works ok but that hasn't solved the actual problem. Also the indicators stay on solid with headlights, and again have issues with tail lights not working...
