WTB, rear leaf spring,

hi guys,
main rear leaf spring broke clean at the point where the second one
is slightly recessed to it,
 
So im looking for a rear leaf spring,
 
i havnt been able to find one here, i am up country but 
i dont know what the options of fabricating /modifying one,
 
any advice or if somones got one, let us know,

Have you tried asking on Thai scooter as well? those guys seem to have a bit of 1000 gear available, and it would be far more local.
(I'm assuming Thai scooter is predominantly users from Thailand)
 
Also if you find some, I would suggest getting the pair because different Datsun 1000 models have different spring rates.
B20 Spring Rate 4.5kg/mm, VB10 Spring Rate 3.95kg/mm whereas the stock B10 springs are 1.45kg/mm.

thanks ash...yeah i did consider i'll probly need 2 cause there may be different rating etc.
 
i have tried some contcats that i had from before from thaiscooter & datsun-thailand.com,
 
i think i will try more but im sure it wont be an easy find, its a matter of finding a wrecking car
laying somewhere, these guys do have some nos stuff "sometimes" and one off used parts (rarely),
 
so but yeah post from aus will probly be high too so il keep looking here for now,
been 8 weeks of the road man the missus is bored with it, told her we'd have a good car when finished lol
 
see what comes up,

cant quite see in the pic, did you have any luck? cause you could also just get some flattened from something else like early corolla or late honda 80s van, suzuki carry or similar kei sized van

no luck yet mate,
dont know where id start trying to find similar where i am,
 
any ideas on what the possibilities are on getting some made?
i only need the main spring obviously,
