engine calculator like OZdat.com, A series engine builders guide

Just wondering if its possible to have here on this website an A series calculator like that on Ozdat.com so we can work out different bores, capacities and compression?

I keep inputing the A series details on that calc but sometimes forget the engine heights and definitely the compression of different heads (eg. 29cc for H89 oval port heads) especially the early round ports etc.

I just had a look and it would be fairly easy to implement (it's all javascript), but I'd be copying a lot of their work.

I wouldn't want to do it without permission.
Its just for the A series and maybe the CA which are both missing from their calculator

Im sure they wont mind as they got it from somewhere else anyway

Actually an OZDAT member spent a lot of time researching it and building it himself for OZDAT back in 2004. We didn't just get it from "somewhere else".

A series engine information has just been added to it (althought we had to guess at head and piston CC's to get the stated CR for A series engines).

If you want to copy it for your website, you should really ask David Andrews for permission, as he is the OZDAT member that wrote it, and ultimatly the copyright belongs to him.

If you have an suggestions or corrections to the A series data, please post them here:
