The car has been in SA the whole time, I am the third owner, the paint off the head came off after a good degreasing and pressure wash. The miles are original when you drive it you can feel it, the previous owner assured me that was genuine. As it was stored for so many years, you need to see it and drive it!

The only mods that ive done to coupes over the years is front disc brakes, a hidden stereo and electronic ignition, internal regualated alternator with internal fan and smaller AGM battery. Thats what I call necessary mods for a model car that would have gotten most of those goodies if it was available till a certain year beyond its 2 year life cycle.
Good luck with the sale and ask what you want you will get it if you are patient enough they are beautiful little things.

Shes definitely worth minimum of 5k, especially compared to what worse for wear and inferior corollas are fetching.
 
While in Japan in 2013 I saw a few low Km KB10s advertised in classic car yards for 3 million yen or 30,000 US dollars.
 
During Bathurst I heard from an ex-Nissan works mechanic for the 1000s, the drum braked Nissan prepped tudor sedans pipped every car when it came to breaking at the end of Conrod straight. They used green grabber brake shoes according to Gordon Dobey which chewed up the drums by the end of the race but did their job embarrasing even the higher specced yet aluminum dressed Italian Alfa 105s and French Renaults which where all round disc braked cars.
