I found the ca20 bottom end with ca18de top using mitsu 4g63 conrods with
slight mods makes a bullet proof 2L that can be engineered.
That combo was used by a racer that put boost through it in an S12.
He kept the first one under 6500 rpm with stock prepped spaghetti ca20 rods!
but the rods from the 4g63 will easily go to 10,000rpm as the H beams are
only 230aud from ebay as many made by Spool but peeps just keep stockies.

maddat is your best bet ask Richard on this forum, he can engineer almost anything and did the brakes for the 1000 you see on his site.  I also have 2 of the D A T S U N rocker cover inserts custom made and only need one if you are ever interested, makes the engine look oldschool.

I went to the guys house 3 times to work out all the details and measurements
making sure they fit the head after many hours on my side as he kept delaying
I then went to pick the 2 first ones up and I paid for the machine time and then
he went behind my back to sell them on ebay without me having choice to buy
them off him and sell to other members for the original price he quoted ($120-150)
At first he was na na not for me to make money will just charge my time and material.
i was like just sell me some and I will give you the contacts for the other guys
but kept refusing. All I wanted was one for myself but ended with 2 as he had finished
them and though he probably never do any more the way things were going.
Either way he lost out as peeps kept asking me for the Nissan ones which he has
now for sale and if peeps are patient enough he will drop the price considerably.
(he originally said 150 each max but kept going up over time everytime I managed
to speak to him, he was really hard to contact and when he did contact me he said
10 would be ready by the end of the week which never happend a dozen or more times)
However I asked for 3 datsun, 4 Nissan, 3 blanks but never happened.
He charged 400 for the first 2 so 200 for the rest but ended up going his own way and
got no luck as he is a very bad communicator & inconsiderate of others time.
Sorry for the big para but that guy was and still is a liar.
 
Can you pls post pics of the ca18de race engine!!!!! we have been waiting for him
to do so but sure he is busy trying to go faster
