WTD 1000 Wagon VIC

Hey guys,
 
Very young 1000.com member but been kicking around 1200.com for years.
 
Is there any 1000 wagons out there that people wish to part with to a new loving home? I'm dreaming of a 1000 wagon as a daily to love and nurture.
 
Keen on any condtion but closer to a RWC the better and in Victoria would be ideal but will consider interstate.

Welcome mate, I got a wagon but it is as far from rw as possible but a great rust free body. What are you looking to spend? Not bad one on eBay for $2500 I think. Good luck in the search.

Dix! there was a real nice one for 2500 on gumtree. I think that is what you were thinking off. it's what kicked this search off. add has dissapaered now but i could never get in contact with the guy while it was actived.

The gummie one you referred said sold last time it was listed yesterday I think.
 
Wagons are very hard to find and if you are practical with tools and cant wait
the utes are more common and you could build some serious rear cabs in
many different wasy eg. out of alloy with rivets and corrugated alloy or even
in wood and do the rest in chrome and wood of some kind or various....
 
like this one or this using same kind of roof rack
 
rear floorboards like this
 
Some headlight visors like my old van and coupe
 
custom rivetted alloy visor with rivets Windscreen visor 
 
rivetted swamp cooler
 
get some cheap old alloy centerline wheels with the same rivetted look
 
and a custom alloy grille with spaced laser cut vents and rivets to top it off
