Rear windshield

Hi everyone!
I am new to this forum, but I have been lurking for some time.

In next few days I will be checking out one 1000 69' model and if everything is ok(should be, considering the info I have) I will buy it. But I have been informed that it has no rear windshield.
Is there any other car that I could use windshield from? If not, I had idea to use piece of plexiglass instead.

I am sorry if I posted this in wrong subforum.
You best use lexan MR10 its shatter resistant and bullet proof in the thicker grades

The shatter aspect is important but being the rear screen not quite an issue

Is it a coupe or tudor or sedan?

I will check if i can get lexan.

I don't know, since the guy I spoke to can't remember how many doors car have.  But he confirmed that is either twodoor  or 4door.
Owner is currently out of country, and should be back in couple of days. I know that car was bought to become project, but that never happened, and for the last few years is stored.
I have new info about car. It's white two door that is stored in the shed since 2008.
I asked him for photos

Nope, that is wrong car. This one doesn't have rear windshield.

Next week I will go and check it out. Shed is locked and I have to wait until key arrives.
Hi!

It's been a while since I visited this forum so I would like to gave an update to my "car hunt".

So, after some communication with seller, I was informed that seller was not an owner of that car-owner was working abroad and he said to his neighbor to sell his old car. It was very difficult to arrange anything with the guy since the car was at weekend house in some s**thole place. Seller (a.k.a neighbour) also refused to take any pics of the car and I simply gave up. I dedicated myself to my college and forgot about the car.

Why am I writing all this? Well, it's because recently I started to search for some nice car to buy (I was mostly aiming for Fiat 850) and today I saw that same Datsun 1000 that I wanted to purchase last year. Good news is-car was (if info in ad is true) moved to town close to mine and I will 100 % go and check it (and maybe buy it).

The car: http://www.njuskalo.hr/oldtimer-auti/datsun-1000-68g-oglas-16492216
it is this model, the most raced, lightest non commercial model
625kg in pov pack trim much better than a basic caterham cause you
have the same weight without worrying about the elements.
A guy I sold one of mine to, put an all alloy engine and box
saved 15kg and was getting FRP bonnet and guards but he ran
out of money and left it sitting there to my disappointment.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean with "non commercial model".
