Selling my 1000, unfinished project

Just wondering what sort of price I could get for my unfinished 68 1000 4 door, it has an S14 VVT SR20 conversion, 120Y tunnel, vanette front brakes, custom made tie rods to adapt van outer ends to 1000 inners (made by Harrop) Series 6 RX7 seats (both left seats but will fit no problems), alloy surge tank VL Turbo Bosch main Carter low pressure pump.. doors, roof and quarters have been repaired, still needs finishing off in most areas but its been 7yrs since I've worked on it so its time to go...Any thoughts or offers?
A bit of work gone into it by the sounds of it, is it running, wired up etc? Just with that motor getting reg anywhere would be a nightmare and as a non going car it's worth what someone is willing to pay if that's their goal.I suppose a track car maybe! Is it still capable of an A series motor? You have any pics, they always help.
any chance of pics? will make it easier to evaluate and interest buyers

I did put one on of the engine bay with the image browser thing, don't know if anyone else can see it or not?

yep looking good any from the sump on from under the sump to see the engine mounts and mods?

none I have on me, it mounts on the original sub frame/cross member, just cut the mount towers shorter and used single bolt solid rubber mounts, think they were for an escort from memory, sump sits perfect in around the cross member, very surprising how easy it dropped in actually.
Hey Port1000

I would like see more pics as well, I love engine mods like this. The problem you have, as Dix eluded to. A SR20 atom would most likely be illegal in NSW and will never be able to be engineered (I can't speak for any other states). If your 1000 4 door was a deluxe model, you would miss out by 3cc's. I know this seems like bullshit but now they have shaken up the way things are done, It would very tough to find an engineer willing to bend the rules anymore.

Also your other mods will play a big part in the value pending on the integrity of the work and if it is legal. Obviously if the tunnel needs to be redone, this is a big cost and alot of time. Good work will of course bring the value up. So pics of the engine mounts, brakes and tunnel mods would be great. Has the tunnel been overlapped?

You might be able to sell in a different state
You might be best off parting it out
I would ask D if a SR16 would mount straight up to the mounts you have made. Although a SR16 would be hard to find, you might have something that could be engineered in NSW later down the track.
GTi-t KB10
All good points above and SR16 crank, rods and custom pistons will ift also or custom rods and stock sr20de pistons

The body is of interest to gauge overall condition as well

After measuring the SR20DE, I came to the conclusion its too big for the 1000 due to the height but if you say its fits im very happy to hear that as it opens another avenue for engine choices especially for my buddy Matt who was comtemplating this conversion using the sr16ve. There is also the sr18de that will pass engineering if kept NA and can be enlarged with custom pistons to suit the required max capacity allowed.
