EOI or advise on price for 67 B10

Hello Datto lovers,

I have an original spec 4 door 67 B10 (white) that used to be my daily driver. It's been in the shed for over 4 years now, still starts and runs like a dream. I also have the original books too.

The recent work I've done on it is brake wheel cylinder rebuilds and replacement of brake lines x 4 all NOS parts. Plus I replaced the gear stick rubber, also NOS part. I did this work as I was going to get it registered again. When I first bought it I removed the head and had it rebuilt, plus replaced all the gaskets that go with that sort of repair.

I can post some pics when I find them in my library.

My question is what do you reckon it's worth to sell these days. I would prefer to sell it to a proper Datto lover.

Thanks
It's hard to say without pics. I can't wait to see them.
Shame your selling but if you check eBay and gumtree you could ask a bit, there are some real heaps of crap for 2k plus! Me personally couldn't justify any more than 5k for a mint stocker. definitely need pics for a better look at it.
What price are you asking?
Hi Greeny,

Thats really what I'm trying to work out. How much is it really worth to a proper Datto fan. I'm not looking for big money. Just don't want to sell it cheap to someone who doesn't care.

Thanks
I wouldn't sell for under $5k especially if it's all matching no's and original, just a matter of whether or not someone's looking for one at the time. Make a great sleeper though...
Thanks dix1000,

It definetly has all the matching numbers, all the original books and everything is original except for the visor.
I agree with Dix, a good Thou' has to be worth $5k,
even if it's a 4 door....
Thanks Dundee1000
Do you guys reckon I should put a for sale ad on this site or some where else like carsales?

Thanks
Either here or Gumtree
Hello again, it has been a while

I'm ready to sell my Datsun 1000. Would any members be interested before I list it elsewhere?
Looks like a beauty, Im my view I think its worth more than 6k and around 7k max
however its up to the market and I believe 5-6k is what its worth in that condition.
Personally if you had air con, upgraded front disk brakes and a tint on the windows
it is better than most of the new cars on the road today like the Suzuki Ignis at 15k+
and Korean boxes which end up in wrecking yards very quickly.
The original A10 manages well but in modern traffic an A12 with 10 to 1 compression
still gives crazy thrifty usage as its an engine that is cheap for oil, filter and fuel.
Do you know the mileage? it looks like its done very little

Thank you for the reply d, the condition hasn't really changed much since I took those photos in 2016. I was thinking of selling it around the 3-4 mark. Although I use it as my daily driver, there is some small issue with it that would need a buyer that knew their way around old cars.

The current mileage is 68536
Id definitely be interested at 3-4k but I suggest as a daily
whatever the small issue you will regret: its economy,
its simplicity, its size, its character and the looks from lasses

Sold! Yes, I hands down agree with all of your comments d. Every day brings a smile a thumbs up or even a random conversation with someone on the street about the Datto.

Are you in Qld?
They are a gem, same weather but Okinawa Japan!
Otherwise Id be knocking on your door to take her away.
I would so love to bring it here somehow but container
prices are not what they once used to be.
Shipping a car these days across oceans privately is
pirate business and they want treasures for it.
You will find a buyer soon enough Im sure, its a shame
her condition is so clean that it would probably be ignored
for some silly engine conversion thats not original.
