I used clubman buckets due to lack of room. Mine bolted straight in to factory mounts with an L-section bolted to runners. I found any high back seats had you sitting to vertical or to close to the wheel.

Ive used suzuki swift seats in a 1000 before .
 
Modified the seat rails a little, but nothing too hard- all bolt together stuff.
