Hi all,
this is my first post on this forum, which is great, so much info.
Anyway, I've recently dropped an A14 into my 69 4 door 1000 sedan,
which has been sitting for about 12 months, I bolted it up to the stock 4 speed, using the a10 flywheel and clutch, (clutch was new when I bought the car and didn't do many km)
the problem I have now is that when I first went to drive away the rear brakes are locked on and and now I can't seem to take it out of gear, even without the engine running, I know the clutch is disengaging because I can't start it without it lurching forward,
I was thinking that with the rear brakes locked on, it's loaded up the tranny through the driveshaft and its stopping me from shifting.
has anyone experienced anything like this after doing an engine c/o?
cheers,
Newbs
