I think you could be right.
When we want to "Big Motor" our 1k's we generally go up in fractions of a liter.
 
Was an old land-speed-record car by Fiat. Think it got up to around the 200kmh mark as well, scary.

Funny you say that.
Alot of these cars used aircraft engines.

the man crush on Guy is strong
from DSC14's to Merlins, to his Volvo... 
 
all the years I've had my stepdad in my life, 
he's only ever said once " the only engine i wish I'd bought was a Merlin" back in the day $50 bucks would get you one..
