Hi everyone! I hope I'm not to late to the party... doesn't seem to be many people posting anymore.
I recently brought a 4 door delux. Complete except for 2 badges. It's a little rough and needs some TLC but has original 20k miles and has been sitting since 1998.
First mission is to extract a couple of broken bolts (and an easy out) from the exhaust manifold, or find another one.
Then in can reinstall the carby and fuel pump that have been freshened up and be able to move it around😊.
once that's done, rear quarter and boot floor rust, check all the important wiring, tyres a clean up then off to get an engine number check so I can register it in Adelaide.
That will be phase 1, then back off the road for the real fun to start!
looing forward picking people's brains...... and parts collections and hopefully meet some other owners around South Aus.
