Interesting idea to stiffen up idler arm

I realise this was done as an offroad mod, but I think that green bracket idea would have to stiffen up the steering on a 1000.
I thought this was a neat idea so I thought I would share it with everyone here.

Why would you need to stiffen it up curiously ?
Mine have all driven like gokarts

No reason, I just like the look of it I guess.
