Just wondering if anyone is interested in a rear cover section for a vitara box to fit into a 1000?
The cover makes the box much smaller at the rear where it usually has the attachement section
for a transfer case making it too big to fit into datsuns.
Im usign the vitara box which is 5 times stronger than the suzuki sierra unit with double synchros,
much larger better quality shafts and gears.
The rear section alone will cost me 150usd and are really rare without the rest of the box.
However the Vit boxes are easily sourced locally and makes the whole import thing cheaper.
So Ive been quoted 175 landed for each one if anyone is intersted will cost 300 for 2.
The engine Im using is the G16b but the G13b is easily fitted by modding 2 mounting areas to
use smaller threaded timeserts from 12mm -> 10mm resizing.
Im modding the gear level to be all the way forward by modding the top cover on the rear section
so its right next to the seal area to mimick a thouee box.
