I'm doing a conversion and have put a surge tank and fuel pumps in the boot of my 1K (a bit prematurely) with out taking into consideration of seaealing off the boot from the cab to prevent fumes. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if I can put everything in a air sealed box or I need to seal off the whole boot. The problem I have is that I talked to my engineer and he sugested that anything form the first pump(which is my low pressure pump that fills the surge tank) needs to be in a sealed area but the overflow from the surge tank did not need to be. I thought that overflow line would be part of that pressure system, hence it needs to be in this sealed area.
I don't want to put the system under the car, (I already have a proportional valve for my barkes under their) so room is a problem. If anyone has any experiance in this I would be greatfull for some ideas.
Thanks.
