Looks like a few of us are into the bikes. Looking pretty loaded up there. Did a big ride with my brother loaded up like that for about a week many years ago. Once you take the bags off, the bike feels wierd without them.

Thanks for the tip on digging tools vs back strain. Currently one of my favourite tools is an El cheapo $20 shovel from bunnings. The long handle makes working with it comfortable.(mandatory sticker bombing of new shovel was inevitable) We have a...

D's logo could also go well on our guards as a stand alone emblem. Or perhaps as a sticker to replace the "datsun 1000" sticker on A10 rocker covers... Hmmm, now ive got myself thinking. D... would you mind if i used your avitar as inspiration...

From what i have read, copper plating is also a process that you can DIY at home. Not done it myself so have no pointers for you D.

Nothing much to add to the build diary this time. I added a 120y handbrake cover to my 1200 sedan handbrake lever today. Sorry for the photo's in the dark with camera flash on. Before fitting my cover i marked my screw hole locations with some...

I would think it will be back. The main moderator was starting new topics with scans of old catalogues the other day. Dosn't seem like the behavior of someone about to close a website. 1200.com has gone down before, so i doubt it has gone for good.
