Check these out! Not the cheapest by any stretch of the imagination, however they do provide a GPS speedo and all of the gauges are fully customisable (for looks). I'm thinking about setting these up in the ute when I get it going. Most of the guages...

Hey guys, I stumbled across these while looking for a set of seats similar to my mates Lotus 7. They look awesome, probably not the most comfortable, but they are identical to the ones he's got. Not too badly priced in my opinon either. ...

Can't say I've done it, but I've got the calipers and brackets, just need to rebuild them and get some discs. There are a few others, but this one seemed like a good option for me. http://www.ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20600#p164336

New change of direction, only a minor one, but significant enough. I've been selling all of the stuff (engine/gearbox) I've accumulated over 2 years and have now started to acquire a more positive combination. I've looked into the engine from newer...

Yep, I've got an account with them. I purchased B20 tail lights NOS and torsion bar rubbers. Got them delivered to home with no worries. They keep you up to date with how the order is progressing and they even adjusted the shipping once they got the items...

Ill have to wait for my brother-in-law to fix my engine crane/ buy me a new one first. He dropped it and stuffed the hydraulic pump. I've got a Sierra sump that I thought was going to fit, but the collector was at the back. If it was on the front it might...

Hey Leigh, Yeah, still have the FRP bonnet, now just looking to modify it too! I seem to be modifying everthing at the moment. I like the old school skyline grey and stumbled across the "Millenium Jade" colour by accident. Instantly loved the...

...and that is the story up until today. I've got to replace the floor pans on both sides, fit a transmission tunnel and then I'll remove everything again and strip it for paint. Considering this for colour...

Now... I've been on holidays for a week and have been busy with the engine. For those that don't know, I've gone for a Suzuki Swift GTi G13B, with a Vitara 1.6ltr SOHC head. Reason being I am going to turbo the little beast and the SOHC should flow...

Found a set of rims I liked... They are 2x (14 x 7 +0) and 2 x (14x7.5 -6). They are apparently Magsports but I can't find any info on them.

Then I played with LEDs... I managed to get my hands on a set of rear tail lights for the B20, but no luck finding the rest of the assembly. I decided that I would go with LEDs as I could have a go at something myself and if it worked out I thought it...

Hey all, Can't believe that I haven't posted my little project up here yet. Bare with me, I'm going to doing a quick intro and then update you all with where I am up to... Here is my little project car. Its a 1969 Datsun 1000 ute that I picked up for...

From my understanding, the tuner would lock the ECU. I know, I know, doesn't secure the tune or emissions produced by the engine, but can't think of any other way of locking a tunable ECU. Realistically, any chipable ECU can be illegal, as with flashtunes...

Ah, I'll just resort to an aftermarket ECU. I've been looking at the Link or Haltech. From the info I've managed to obtain, I'd need to get an emissions test anyway, so I may as well turbo it, get it engineered how I want it. Apparently the ECU needs to...

Yep, I agree its crap. I was under the impression that due to the vehicle being pre-ADRs, that the emissions would not be an issue as it was never "restricted" back then. Yep, emails-a-plenty being sent to RTA!

Hmm, further reading of all this suggests to me that being Pre-ADR doesn't stop the vehicle from requiring engineering, however does mean that the vehicle will be engineered against the Vehicle Standards. I'll ask Gav the age of his car. If it was built...

Full engine conversion, it’s a Swift GTi engine with Vitara head (G13B/G16B hybrid D and I have been talking about on the Datsun1200.com site). There are too many sensors that are not compatible as they used different ignition/timing sensors. If I can get...

A bit off topic, but what about cars manufactured before 1/1969? Just checked my papers and my ute was complianced in 1/1968 and I was planning my engine conversion to run an OEM ECU. By the looks of it, its going to be too hard and I'm going to have to...
