They look like they would do everything you need. and the price is right. Keeping the old radio in the dash makes the car look like it has had a much easier life, and I think it gives the car a classic feel when you are sitting inside.

Wow 1000 radios, so... 43000usd and you only need 2. There are other companys selling similar radios, But I can't remember who they are, a look around google should find some alternatives. There are not many parts in a 1000 interrior, so I thought the...

I also did mine to straighten it up, and to get a nice paint finish between the car body and the panel when I paint the ute.

It owed me around $500 Australian delivered, postage was about $150 of that. But I bought it when the US dollar was strong so it would be cheaper now. There is a guy who restores mustangs that is the aussie dealer, but when i looked on his web page he...

If you decide to sell that steering wheel I am interested. Have you seen the radios that retrosound make? Here is a pic of mine, mp3 via a usb stick and also radio.

I still have a lot of work to go, I have to fix the drivers guard, decide if my yellow door is good for the pass side, hopefully sort out a pass guard or fix what I have, Figure out which tail gate to use, make some mounts for the front beaver panel. Prep...

Datjas and I made a start on paint today. When I was sanding in the door jams I noticed the passenger door had been opened way too far at some stage, it had torn the metal and bent it outwards. Who ever had the ute before me decided to hammer things...

I want them too, All i need is a right clear lens to finaly make up a new set of lights. Because I got the new left light a while back i'll sit this one out and wait for the next set, or for a right hand clear lens on it's own. Good luck with the bidding...

There are no dents, if you look at the pic of it from behind you can see it has some wobbles along the edges. Other than that it's a good bumper.

I don't think anything on a 1000 is overly heavy. I have had thoughts of a rack and pinion set up when I was considering engine swaps. But the more I thought about geometry the scarier it seemed. I would think getting the rack cut to the correct length...

I think there is a good chance the whole steering box/column set up from a 1200 would work. The exploded diagram in the two parts books are identical. I think the 1200 only had an extra spacer at the steering wheel end. The only thing I could see as being...

I decided to take a pic of the 1000 idler arm and another of the 1200 idler arm from the same angle to see how close they are. Turns out they are the same. I used skinny bolts that were smaller than the holes in the chassis so there was a few mm of play...

When I was talking about the idler arm I was talking about the side not on the steering box. I was meaning to use a 1200 idler and use the third hole in the pic (Above the rear idler arm bolt) to make things line up again. I bought a 1200 arm that was...
